Todd Farms Brand + Web Development

Before I ever worked in marketing professionally, I grew up inside a business.

​

Todd Farms is a fifth-generation farm in Union, Nebraska — operating since 1857 in southeast Cass County. Farming isn’t just agriculture. It’s logistics. It’s finance. It’s merchandising. It’s land stewardship. It’s innovation. It’s legacy.

​

From running the grain cart during harvest to managing office books, feeding cattle at 5 a.m. before dance team practice, and helping with seed sales, I grew up understanding that agriculture is both grit and strategy.

As our operation continued evolving under my dad, Gary, and grandpa, Mel, it became clear:
Our story deserved to be told with intention.

​

And our business deserved a digital presence that reflected its scale, credibility, and forward-thinking leadership.

The Ask

Todd Farms needed:

  • A cohesive brand identity

  • A professional website presence

  • A digital home for Todd Seeds

  • A way to communicate legacy and innovation equally

  • A platform that would build credibility with:

    • Seed customers

    • Agricultural organizations

    • International ag programs

 

Agriculture runs on relationships and reputation.
But in a modern economy, reputation often starts online.

The Idea

Create a brand and website that honored 1857 — while positioning Todd Farms for the future.

We leaned into storytelling — because agriculture is inherently generational and narrative-driven.

From the early days of Springdale Stock Farm to Todd Farms to Gary Todd Farms, Inc., each generation has carried forward a commitment to stewardship and progress.

The website needed to show:

  • Historical roots

  • Modern practices

  • Seed expertise

  • Data transparency

  • Community impact

 

It wasn’t about building a flashy site. It was about building trust.

  • 40+ years of seed dealership experience

  • DEKALB® corn and Asgrow® soybean offerings

  • In-field research plots and regional testing

  • Direct grower relationships

  • Downloadable data and plot results

This reinforced credibility not just through story — but through performance transparency.

Accessible Data + Resources

  • The site includes easily downloadable documents and plot data, giving farmers and landowners practical, decision-driving information.
